Parameters affecting the anatomical and functional success of macular hole surgery

Aim: To evaluate the effect of preoperative Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography (SD-OCT) parameters on macular hole surgery (MHS) and their predictive value for postoperative best corrected visual acuity (BCVA).
 Materials Methods: This retrospective study included 30 eyes patients with (MH). All underwent pars plana 23-gauge vitrectomy. A detailed analysis including MH minimum diameter (MD), base (BD), opening (OD), height, nasal arm (NA), temporal (TA), index (MHI), (DHI), tractional (THI), form factor (HHF), area (MHA), volume (MHV) were performed preoperatively.
